Welcome to year 1, Cedar Class

The staff in year 1 are; Mrs Matthews, Ms Hassan and Miss Lok, if you have any questions please speak to us at the start or end of the day.

Our Year 1 Journey so far...

Welcome to the Year 1 class page! Year 1 is a super important year as we learn so many new and exciting things each and every day. The main goal of this is to encourage the class to become independent learners. Mindfulness has been introduced to support children with regulating their emotions and ensuring that they are being their very best selves during the school day.

Communication and Reminders

School starts promptly at 855am please be on time. Formal learning begins at 9am, if your child is late they will miss some vital learning.
School ends at 330pm please collect your child on time, late collection can be very unsettling for children.
If your child has any food allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know.
If your child uses an inhaler, please leave one in school at all times and fill in the appropriate forms at the office.
PE is on Wednesday please wear PE kit (white top / black bottoms)
