  We are really looking forward to our Multicultural Week which starts on Monday 21st January. We have lots of exciting activities planned throughout the week, and we will be celebrating this very special week during our Family Assembly on Friday 25th January. As always, our parents and families are invited.

  We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the SILVER School Games Mark award for our commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive school sport in 2017-2018.

• Children and Family Portraiture - 23rd June 2018

  Liam's Whitebox Photography will be holding a family portraiture session at Trinity Anglican Methodist Church on Saturday 23rd June from 9.30am. Please see the information below for details of prices. One of our Governors, Julie Moss-Jones is organising this event and has managed to do a fundraising deal with the photographer which will benefit our school. For every family who buys a portrait package, the photographer will donate £5 to school. If you would like to book, please text or email Julie (see flyer) and she will give you a time slot and details of how to pay.

• SPONSORED 1000 MILE CHALLENGE!

  Dovecot Primary School has launched its first sponsored 1000 mile challenge!

  We are inviting all members of our school community to take part in logging all miles they walk, run, hop, skip or jump between now and 12th July.

• High 5 Netball Team success!

  Congratulations to our High 5 Netball team who got through to the Liverpool city finals, which will take place on 18th June. They played amazingly in all three games, working effectively as a team and encouraging each other throughout. Miss McKuhen and Mrs Honey are extremely proud of them!

  

• TREASURE HUNT WINNER!

  Congratulations to Natalie Raiblova who won the Treasure Hunt draw in this morning's Celebration Assembly. She has won a fantastic 'Family Night In' hamper which includes 'The Greatest Showman' DVD, popcorn, chocolates, sweets, crisps, dips and marshmallows. Enjoy Natalie and family!
