PE School Council
PE Council
The PE council’s role is to promote sport at Dovecot Primary School and give every child the opportunity to take part. They will lead break, lunch and after school clubs/activities and play an important role at sporting events such a sports day. They will act as a voice for pupils with regard to sports activity within school and encourage pupils to become involved in sport.
The PE Council members will be from:
Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 & Year 6
Sports Ambassadors
Their role will be to oversee school sport and to increase participation in competition and extra-curricular activity. They will have monthly meetings with our sports coach and PE Lead (Miss Heaton and Miss Wilson) to discuss new ideas initiatives that they can deliver. They will also be trained to help officiate at tournaments.
