The two most important things we can do at home to support children in their learning is practising reading every day and remembering to bring our book back to school to get a new and talking about what we have learnt to help us remember.

Your child will also be given log-ins for these sites, which are a fantastic way to practise key skills and support our learning in class. If you aren't sure what your log-in is please let me know at school or on Class Dojo and I can provide you with one.

TTRockstars.

This is an amazing website that lets the children play a really fun times tables game. The software learns where each child is up to and changes the challenge to concentrate on the next step. I can see who has been practising at home, and even more importantly it shows me which times tables each student is finding tricky so we can practise them together. 

Spelling Shed

This is our fantastic new spelling scheme and it includes loads of really fun games. I will set challenges using the words we are practising each week. Playing at home will make a huge difference.
